The Deborah Fischer Gallery presents a special project for the Israeli summer days, an exhibition of works that correspond with the local light, with the days of freedom and warmth, with the magical beach with its landscapes, characters and narrative plots.
Deborah Fisher was a unique woman, a family woman, a leader and an educating figure, whose volunteer work contributed greatly to the community. As an active industrialist, she worked with her husband, Dr. Eli Fischer, on the development of family health products. The years of history have been a clear and attractive theme for the work, for the various artists from all fields of work. Indeed. Claude Monet, after whom the Impressionist movement got its name. It is a sea view in the north of France painted in free brush strokes without precise drawing. Man's Dialogue with Nature The exhibition's artists have chosen and given a visual interpretation, each according to their typical artistic language, of the theme of freedom, the beach and the sea, during the summer days.
Dudu Gerstein depicts characters on the Dead Sea coast, Eli Gross draws children playing on the beach. Ofira Avishar depicts people sitting in a cafe by the sea and Nurit Shani depicts a large city by the sea full of fascinating life, another epic view of the sea and people depicted in a painting by Sarit Nachshon. Edward Levin paints the lifeguard booth at the beach and when Lahat sketches the figure of the chair seller. A romantic interpretation for fishermen trying to fish in the sea is given by Titi Hasson Alexandrovich. Like her, Shlomi Ben Yakar, depicts a winged figure floating in the waters of the sea. The exhibition "Sea of Summer" brings a refreshing summer breeze to the present period, trying to cope with the renewed cultural life, alongside the continuation of the Corona plague. We must enjoy our sun and at the same time protect ourselves from it.
