Lost Love Stations - Solo exhibition for artist Lela Migirov
The Blue Bird Gallery

Curator: Sara Raz, Chair of the Petah Tikva Artists' Association
The exhibition will take place at the gallery in January-February 20201
Among the many rights an artist receives as a gift to a god is the ability to transfer spiritual thinking to a tangible exhibit. It is not difficult to accompany Lela in her works and experience her feelings. In the mask of the life of each and every one are interwoven loves. Some of the loves are realized and longevity and some dissipate and disappear. Loves that are interrupted due to parting or is success where are they stored? Is there a place where we can meet them again. Indeed every passion, every pain, every photo album of love, rises and floats with sounds and melodies of music, with smells and tastes, with laughter and tears reminiscent of stormy romantic moments. Love is not erased, it reappears at all times: as a memory we meet it in events, in encounters with people. With every look at sunrise and sunset, with gusts of wind, with star gazing and a cloud float in the sky. In the moonlight and darkness of the night, in moments of sadness and silence or a captivating smile. Looking at beauty and ugliness. Every spark of gemstone, every sight of water flowing up and reminiscent of remnants of love. The artist Lela Migirov in her talent and ability to express herself manages to guide us and tell us where all the lost old loves are stored.
In the foyer of the exhibition we can look at an ancient mirror and see our figure reflected and from here we share the artist's feelings that evoke experiences and an understanding of her reflection. In her works Lela conveys the sense of journey, of dynamism and movement on wheels. From a high-rise tower studded with gems, to a glamorous carriage in bright colors laden with figures. From there we can see a boat sailing with the power of the oars that propel it in joint efforts. In a balloon, on a lighthouse rising over waves, in a friends' discourse, in caring for basic needs and in places of many gatherings, in any such place we can find those stations that contain the remnants of our loves. As the second thread between the works we can notice the scales leading to the experience, and the thick threads and ropes that ground the experiences into reality. Lela uses various techniques and materials such as gems, newspaper clippings and threads that are an addition to the color she puts on the canvas. The intense colors excite our senses.
Love song excerpts add to the storm of the senses and give another mood to the intensifying experience.
