"My paintings represent my yearning for the authenticity I aspire to achieve by combining past events with quotations from Jewish sources, and with landscapes and colors of the Land of Israel, creating a moving experience, meeting the Jewish soul, taking courageous approach to color and expression, And in the depth of human experience, we can revive the imagination and the hope - the key to the survival of the soul of the people of Israel " .
Her inspiration comes from biblical themes, from modern Jewish history and the landscapes of the Land of Israel, and the fact that Elisheva is both an artist and a mother living in Israel in times of uncertainty is sometimes reflected in her works: her view of life combines heightened visual awareness with maternal anxiety and a healthy dose of optimism and humor Believes in the ability of art to rise above politics and heal social schisms, supports incitement without incitement and is not afraid to confront controversial issues.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Already in her youth she expressed an interest in drawing figures, in combination with her burning love for the Torah and the Land of Israel. Encouraged by her parents, she studied at the Cleveland Art Institute and later studied painting and design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Immigrated to Israel in 1986 and her paintings are exhibited in many exhibitions in Israel, New York, Boston and San Francisco.
A resident of Ma'aleh Adumim, near Jerusalem. She owns an art studio. She is a grateful mother and grandmother, with an expanding family all over the country.

Her paintings and prints signed in limited editions are on sale. Elisheva is happy to host groups at her home, for studio tours, lectures and workshops.
