Androids, global warming and shock waves meet in the new exhibition of artist Gideon Saar .

In contrast to Gideon Saar 's previous exhibition, which dealt mainly with global warming, "Standing barefoot on warm and ready soil", which opens on January 8 at the Leonardo Gallery in Tel Aviv, three "modes of accumulation" of time and presence in the artist's paintings will be presented .

The present exhibition deals with the future global warming, but this time an approach was taken that enables the artist to create a reality in which the present corresponds with the past and with the future and can offer an alternative reality to everything that happened and to whatever happens.

Like the artist Jozef Boyce, whose works aim to show that nature contains meanings capable of guiding the mind and actions of man, so too in Sa'ar , the similarity between the past and the future can not be understood visually but only by intuition and listening to the meaning of works in relation to human ecological disasters and natural disasters, Also, meeting creatures, often friendly, from the future.

The names of the works in the exhibition are from the songs of the musician and singer, Idan Haviv.

"I connected to his music without knowing his past," Sa'ar said. "I only recently learned that he was also a fighter."

Participants: 40 teenagers who painted 20 paintings showing their feelings and thoughts about global warming and Greenpeace organization to present a presentation in the exhibition space.

Gideon Sa'ar , who lives in Hadera, has professional knowledge that he learned from independent research and experience. He studied drawing in evening classes at open classes at the art department at the University of Haifa and a course with David. He paints obsessively from childhood. At the age of 12 he held an art exhibition at his home

As part of the treatment he received from the Ministry of Defense as a combat dream, the therapist gave him a painting and colors and asked him to paint an event from the war and only afterwards to tell about it, for four years. This process brought him back to his ability to paint before the war and mentally, brought him back to life. Until 2006 Saar painted mainly wars, since 2006 Saar deals with events and exhibits in exhibitions in Israel and abroad.

The exhibition "Standing barefoot on warm and ready soil" will be exhibited at the Leonardo Gallery, at Kibbutz Movement House at 13 Leonardo da Vinci Street, Tel Aviv (floor 2). Until February 11
