The exhibition "Jahor" includes a series of new woodwork spread over the floor and gallery walls. Each sculpture is modular, with its opening point being a flat, compact state, with the potential to expand to create different variations of itself. The sculptures are composed of pieces of oak, the faces of each one coated with paint and lacquer, creating a colorful spectrum. The motion of the viewer between the works allows the parts to appear as recesses or protuberances, flat but three-dimensional, hinting at familiar but foreign formality.

Reuven Israel (1978, Jerusalem) exhibited solo exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; Shulamit Nazarian, Los Angeles; Braverman Gallery, Tel Aviv; Friedman Gallery, New York; And Museo Civico Floriano Bodini, Italy, among others. Selected group exhibitions include a twist at Fused Space, San Francisco; The Imagined Museum at Dennis Currie Gallery, New York; The museum presents itself 2 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; 100 years ready-made for RadioMade at the Haifa Museum of Art; Re: visiting Rockefeller at the Rockefeller Archaeological Museum, Jerusalem, and Senses of the Mediterranea in Hangar Bicocca, Milan. Reuven won several prizes, among them the Young Artist Prize of the Ministry of Culture, the Heritage Foundation Prize of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship. His works are in private and public collections, among them the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Ashdod Museum of Art, the Haaretz collection, the Bank Hapoalim collection, the Sheba hospital collection and more. Israel has a permanent public installation at Stare Square in Tel Aviv. He has been represented by Braverman Gallery since 2007, and this will be his fourth solo exhibition at the gallery.
