This is how the artist Vered spent her childhood in her freedom and adolescence in the fields and in the free and rural atmosphere of Moshav Beit Elazari.
The work is her work and she has always created with constant daily discipline - swallowed up in the studio for many hours of toil and inspiration.
As the daughter of a Yemenite dairy family with roots when her parents were born in Israel, she experienced a close-knit childhood of freedom and nature, running in the wheat and corn fields, but on the other hand being responsible to the economy. She later learned that the painter Leah Nickel lived nearby and even encouraged her work.
The sunny spaces directed her work. She is captivated by the intoxicating nature and she erupts in front of the still fabric with power and love.
Her life as a daughter of cattle breeders was not easy at all and she experienced formative experiences that are expressed today in her sensual and creative work:. Line and stain and contrasts - strong contrasts between orange and turquoise, and subtle contrasts between shades of white, transparent versus opaque, vigorous versus hesitant, restraint versus passion, mess versus order, dirt versus pure color.
Her composition is spontaneously saturated with truth and without bias.
Gerstenkorn, a beautiful woman, combines in her personality as well as in her work a bold, stormy but peaceful interpretation of the land of the land and the landscape of Eretz Israel that surrounds us.
In Israel it was previously exhibited by the Stern Gallery and Way of Life navigated Vered to touch with great success also in worlds outside the country's borders and she exhibited her work in galleries in America and Europe (especially in Paris).
