Opening: Thursday, July 1, 2021, 20: 00-22: 00 Rothschild Art Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition by the painter Simon Adjiashvili.
The exhibition will feature drawings and paintings of interiors in which Simon continues his artistic exploration of the spaces of his home interiors, real, remembered and imagined.
About a month ago, Adjiashvili exhibited paintings from the same series at the Mokum Gallery in Amsterdam and was a great success.
Simon Adjiashvili wrote about his paintings:
"A shadow falls on a wall, a drinking glass on the edge of a table, a reflection in a mirror - everyday mirrors are tiredly familiar. "
Georgia-born Adjashvili, a graduate of the Tbilisi Academy, immigrated to Israel in 1990.
Until 2004 it will be represented by ML de Boer galleries in Amsterdam and Gallery Francis Van Hoof in Belgium. Since 2010 it has been represented by Rothschild Art.
His paintings are in many collections, including the Queen Beatrice collection.
