The sky is pink, the earth is yellow, my wings take me up and I am high in the sky. A metallic announce is sounds as the world outside cracks, it is so hard to discern between people and androids and perhaps it doesn’t matter. Seashells draw us into the ocean, to Poseidon, to the sirens, to haunted shipwreck where pirate ghosts sing their rum-laden songs of bravery and danger. Fantasy creates an alternate world, not unlike our own. With its own rules, within which we operate and tend to forget that this world too, which we have created, is more similar than we would like to admit, to the word outside, the one we call real, a world which we have constructed too. Fantasy is a transitional space between inside and outside. It draws from both internal and external realities. It creates a parallel universe, allowing us to remain therein. It reveals and conceals, it calls upon our own fantasies. It remains unreachable. It builds the bridges between inside and outside and paves new paths to see, hear, sense, experiences.
